The web is offering us a sneak preview of the all-new Lexus NX compact SUV with a trio of photos revealing the production car's front- and rear-quarter profiles as well as the interior, prior to a world premiere at the Beijing Auto Show on April 20 – strangely, Lexus said nothing about the New York Auto Show.
"With its striking design, advanced technologies and Lexus’ signature spindle grill, the NX will set new standards for future models in the line-up," said Lexus in a previous release.
The model pictured here is labeled NX 300h, and likely features the same powertrain as the IS 300h sedan and RC 300h coupe, pairing a 176hp (178PS) 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine to a 105kW (141hp) electric motor driven through a CVT producing a combined 217hp (220PS). We don't know if this powertrain will be offered in the States.
At the Tokyo show, Lexus previewed the concept with its first 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four, which could make its production debut on the NX.
