The sheet posted below should dispel any fears of the BMW i8 not being a quick enough sports-borderline-super-car. Road&Track recently tested the car thoroughly and noted down its various performance parameters, the most notable of which being the naught to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint that was completed in 3.8 seconds, a full 0.6 seconds quicker than officially claimed.

So clearly, with a sub-4-second sprint time, the rowdy-sounding i8 has the go to match its sporty yet futuristic looks, putting it at least on par with cars like the Audi R8 and many Porsche 911s, vehicles that if specified so, can match the BMW’s hefty price tag (even if the i8 was never meant to be an M performance car).

It’s still seen as an expensive model, but the arguments against it get harder the better it promises to be…
