While we wait for the live appearance of the new BMW M4 Convertible in New York on April 16, we thought we would share this fresh piece of information that just landed in our hands: U.S. pricing for the M-flavored retractable hardtop model has been set at $73,425, which includes a $925 destination and handling fee.

That compares to the $62,925 BMW is asking for the M3 Sedan and $65,125 for the M4 Coupe in the States, destination charges included.

You can read about and see more of the M4 Convertible in our previous post here, but the headline grabber is the new turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six churning out 425-horses and peak torque of 406 lb-ft, securing a 0-60 mph (96km/h) time of 4.4 seconds if you row six gears yourself, and 4.2 seconds if you prefer the ease and speed of the optional seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission.
