Pleasantly nipped and tucked, and with the automotive equivalent of a gastric band surgery in place (i.e. turbochargers), the Ferrari California T is evolution like you would only find with the Germans.

It looks like it did before, but slightly better and more modern, and its engine has been downsized from 4.3- to 3.9-liter but makes considerably more power – Teutonic-style progress right there…

Recently, two of these new California Ts (one grey, one dark blue) were spotted being unloaded from trucks in Paris, where they attracted quite a crowd.

This is where you get to hear their twin-turbo V8 in action, though it’s kept at idle for most of the video and it’s not at all loud, even if the video uploader says they had the exhaust valves open – it probably makes even less noise than this, so it will be suitable for in-town driving too.
