This is our best look yet at the upcoming 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate/Wagon, with very little camouflage covering only the rear quarter windows and tail lamps. It’s not as slick or swoopy as Benz’s other upcoming wagon, a coupe-fied estate based on the CLA, but it does look handsome in these pictures.

The good news is that, the new model’s smooth styling is accompanied by an increase in passenger space over the more squared outgoing C-Class Wagon, thanks to an 80mm (3.15 inches) increase in wheelbase length (2,840mm or 111.8 inches), while boot capacity is expected to grow to over 500 liters.

No need to worry about a weight penalty either, as despite being bigger, it will be up to 100kg (220 lbs) lighter than the current W204-codenamed model.

All the other specs, trims and engines are expected to be shared with the sedan.

We should get the first official photos of the car later in the summer, with the world premiere to occur at the Paris Motor Show in October.
