Imagine the tales the Nürburgring Nordschleife could tell if it wasn’t just a crazy, tarmac-covered succession of curves and slopes. Luckily, fixed and mobile video cameras are watching the circuit at any given time, which means we can witness some of the action as well.
A few days ago we saw how a Golf GTI driver totalled his car because he dared to act too brave, and now, it’s time for a similar moment, with the big difference being that the Ford Fiesta driver you are about to see in the video had enough room and self-control to save the situation.
Just like the Golf GTI, the Fiesta driver is seen entering a corner too fast, going wide on the grass and then struggling to regain control over the car. The driver was lucky that he had a straight line ahead where he could stabilize the car, but the way he handled the situation was absolutely top-class, as you can see in the video posted below.
