Effort is being put into all facets of the automotive industry to move them along and not confine progress only to certain areas. Thus, Bentley has just announced that it will be revealing a new type of camouflage to hide its SUV prototype from the prying lenses of spy photographers – they say it’ll be “revolutionary.”

In its creation, “the team examined some of Bentley’s most recognizable visual icons: the Flying B, the matrix grille pattern and the diamond quilting design used in Bentley’s most luxurious interiors.”

We don’t yet know what it will be like or about, but the twisted lattice diamond pattern shot they posted does somewhat hint at what they are trying to do.

Why are they going down this path? Are they afraid the world will hate what’s underneath the camo, and they want to at least make that appealing?
