Who knows what mysterious force prompted this (Russian?) pedestrian to move a couple of steps forward after standing still for a few moments on the sidewalk, but it literally saved his head when a large crane came crashing down.
In the dash-cam video after the jump, pay attention to the guy in the red t-shirt looking at his cell-phone on the right side of the pavement, just ahead of the billboard.
Just as he walks forward, the metal crane landed on the exact spot he was standing only a second ago! Talk about a “Final Destination” moment in real life…
