Before you condemn this biker, keep in mind that, while the practice of driving a motorcycle between lanes of stopped or slower moving vehicles, commonly known as lane splitting is prohibited in most parts of the USA, with one notable exception being California, it is allowed in many other countries around the world.

We are not aware what the law says about lane splitting in Russia’s St. Petersburg region (if you do know, share the information in the comments), so for now, we’re just going to say that the driver of the Kia should have probably taken a quick look at his mirror before opening the door.

Leaving aside the motorcycle and car damages, no one was hurt.
