You can’t even abide by the law and slow down when approaching a pedestrian crossing these days in Russia without getting into some sort of trouble with another driver.

The author of this dash-cam footage says he was driving his wife to the airport in Moscow when he reduced speed after seeing a 40km/h (~25mph) sign on the road. Apparently, this didn’t sit well with an SUV driver coming from behind.

“He perched close to my bumper and thought that I was trying to teach him a lesson”, said the man in the dash-cam car. “Next thing you know, he clipped my car and stopped in front. He then pulled out a gun and pointed it at me, before hitting me in the face.”

The incident, which happened on June 8, 2014 (the video date is wrong), ended with the driver calling the police after he smashed into the gun-bearing motorist’s door…
