So while the Delorean DMC-12 is a nice design to look at, has cool doors and an even cooler lack of paint on its body, it’s really not got a lot going for it in terms of the end-user driving and ownership experience.

The cars were never truly finished, being kind of public beta tests with actual customers doing the testing on cars which they had paid for…

However, there are now kits out there to dramatically improve your DMC-12, without altering it in any significant way – they’re solely meant to bring out what the car could have been but never was because of not being finished.
One of the people that bought into the DeLorean Stage-2 promise is automotive journalist Matt Farah, who owns a DMC-12 that’s been tuned to Stage 2 specs, after he found it in a barn.

He then gave the car to RegularCarReviews for one of their now-familiar yet still slightly odd video reviews; the result is posted below and, as always, is a breath of fresh air in a time when automotive clichés catchphrases seem to be back in fashion…
