Eight new Black Edition models have been added to Skoda’s UK lineup, covering the brand’s entire portfolio. As anticipated, all models sport a black exterior finish, but unexpectedly, the Citigo, Fabia, Yeti, Octavia and Superb are also available in white, which doesn’t make a lot of sense, but who are we to question Skoda’s marketing prodigies.

Skoda says that the additional enhancements vary by model, but common features include black alloy wheels, extra black exterior styling details, sunset privacy glass, ‘Amundsen’ satellite navigation, DAB digital radio, full leather upholstery, cruise control, floor mats and metallic/pearl effect paint.

All cars receive a minimum of £1,200 worth of optional extras, with the Superb benefitting from over £3,200 of additional spec. According to the Czech carmaker, Black Edition customers save up to £1,720 depending on the model.
