Even though no camouflaged prototype of the Forstars has been spotted in the wild yet, a crossover-ish model should be part of Smart’s future plans.

The boys and girls at Smart first hinted at a new crossover/SUV to be part of the new lineup via the 2012 Smart Forstars concept, which according to Smart marketing speak, was actually “an SUC (Sports Utility Coupe) with room for two people and plenty of storage space.”
Certain elements of its exterior design have now found themselves on both the new Fortwo and the Forfour, which makes it highly probable that the resurrection of the Formore crossover/SUV project should feature them as well.

This is probably why Photoshop illustrator X-Tomi decided to have a go on creating a virtual production variant of the Forstars concept, which may or may not translate into the rumored Formore.

Obviously, the production car will probably be based on the body of the ForFour/Renault Twingo, as Smart would most likely need a larger customer niche for their first ever all-wheel drive vehicle. What do you guys think, would this work?
