If you ask me, some blame for this accident falls on the shoulders of both truck drivers, and a whole lot on the “safety” crew who were supposedly looking out and warning oncoming motorists.

The driver of the dash-cam truck was clearly speeding (just look at how fast he passed the lorry), but on the other hand, he was on a highway and the last thing you expect to see is a large semi-truck attempting to perform a U-turn.

The other truck driver and the supporting (?) team should have at least placed warning signs and people in uniform at a fair distance behind and communicate between themselves to assure that the maneuver was completed in absolute safety.
