Common sense dictates that, when transporting a car on a lift, and especially a heavy one like the VW Touareg, you ought to be super diligent on the road.
We don’t have the police report on this accident, however, from what we can tell, the tow truck driver must have missed the red light, but…not the oncoming dumpster that knock the vehicle down.
We also have no information on what happened to the driver and/or passengers of the station wagon waiting at the light, but we can only imagine their terror upon seeing the truck and the Touareg coming straight on without the ability to do anything about it.
