Footage of a police officer in riot gear throwing himself on a car driving at a slow pace on a busy highway in Argentina has emerged on the web.

The cop clearly saw that the cars were moving yet he ran directly into them and jumped on the small sedan rolling off the hood in a rather theatrical manner.

His colleagues then rushed to surround the car, and even though the driver had no intention of going anywhere and signaled that we was coming out, the cops grabbed him and threw him to the ground like a sack of potatoes before they forcefully subdued him!

It was reported that the driver belonged to a group of workers who gathered to demand better working conditions in the Lear auto parts factory, but we have not yet verified this.

According to InfoBae, the driver was arrested and kept in jail for around 10 hours with the prosecutor charging him for “assault and resisting arrest” and “negligent injury.”
