A cyclist in downtown San Francisco (or so we’re told) thought he would be protected if he rode alongside a Honda CR-V that rolled through a stop sign. Unfortunately, he was proven wrong.
Some commentators on YouTube said it was a four-way stop, but the low video quality makes it difficult to confirm.
Whatever the case, a white VW Golf t-boned the Honda, which in turn hit the bicyclist before it overturned.
The author doesn’t say what the outcome was and if anybody was hurt.
If anything, the cyclist should have waited his turn instead of blindly relying on another driver to make the call to go through a stop sign.
