Following the production transfer from India to Romania, Dacia has announced new styling and trim upgrades for the UK-bound Duster for the 2015 model year.

Inspired by the facelifted Duster that is already on sale in left-hand drive markets, the UK version gets a chrome front grille made up of two layers of four small intakes surrounding the Dacia logo, as well as “Duster” branded roof bars – chromed on range-topping Lauréate models.

At the rear, the SUV gets a black tailgate trim with “Duster” branding above the number plate. Lauréate versions also feature new Tyrol 16-inch alloy wheels, body-colored door handles and dark metal door mirror casings. The refreshed Duster is available with five new metallic colors – Mercury, Khaki, Pearl Black, Slate Grey and Cinnamon.

Inside, each grade gets new upholstery and seats. Access versions are finished in Hassium cloth, Ambiance in Osmium cloth and Lauréate in Rhodium cloth with “Duster” lettering. The Emergency Spare Wheel now becomes a £150 option on all 4×2 versions, but remains standard on 4×4 models.

Engine options remain the same as before, with the entry-level Access model being powered by a 105hp 1.6-liter four-cylinder petrol unit, while the mid-range Ambiance and top-grade Lauréate versions have a 107 hp (109 hp on 4×4 versions) 1.5-liter dCi 110 turbodiesel engine. Prices also remain unchanged, with the base Duster starting from £9,495 (€12,083) OTR.
