There’s not much left to say about the 2015 Ford Mustang, a car that has probably enjoyed the highest media coverage among all new models released this year.

But when Ford releases more than a hundred new photos of the Mustang the event can’t go unnoticed, knowing how many fans this car has – by the way, did you know that the Mustang is the world’s most-liked vehicle on Facebook with almost 7.9 million likes?

The photos were taken during the US media drive of the 2015 Mustang in Los Angeles and show the mid-range 2.3-liter EcoBoost model (the red and blue cars in the gallery), as well as the range-topping GT (grey car). As I’m sure you know by now, the Mustang is offered with three engines, a base 3.7-liter V6 producing 300 hp and 270 lb-ft (366 Nm) of torque, a 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder unit delivering 310 hp and 320 lb-ft (434 Nm) of torque and a 5.0-liter V8 engine with 435 hp and 400 lb-ft (542Nm) of torque.

Each of the three available engines gets a unique grille that allows in only as much air as the powerplant needs, with active grille shutters on the Mustang 2.3-liter EcoBoost making it more fuel efficient by further reducing drag at higher speeds when extra cooling capacity is not needed. The shutters can completely close off the grille, sending air over and around the car instead of through the engine compartment.

The 2015 Mustang also features all-new front and rear suspension systems with double-ball-joint MacPherson strut system at the front and integral-link independent suspension at the rear. Gadgets include standard Intelligent Access with push-button start, SYNC and MyKey, Track Apps, MyColor gauges and a new Shaker Pro Audio System.

The Mustang goes on sale this fall in the United States and in 2015 in more than 120 countries worldwide. US pricing starts from $23,600 for the base V6 model.
