Renault has confirmed that the all-new Espace minivan will have its world premiere at the Paris Auto Show, alongside two new Dacia models: the Lodgy Stepway and Dokker Stepway.

While the Espace wasn’t exactly a secret, the Stepway variants of the Dacia Lodgy and Dokker are quite a surprise and should sport a similar rugged-looking package as the Dacia Sandero Stepway.

As leaked patent photos have shown, the fifth-generation Renault Espace will be inspired by the funky Initiale Paris Concept revealed at last year’s Frankfurt Auto Show. Based on the Renault-Nissan alliance’s new CFM1 modular platform, the French people carrier is likely to be powered by the group’s new generation of downsized and turbocharged engines.

Renault will also debut its new Initiale Paris upscale line at the Paris show next month, and chances are it will be showcased on the new Espace. The Initiale Paris line is Renault’s equivalent of Ford’s Vignale and Citroën’s DS lines.
