Dodge is keeping the Challenger variants coming, and they keep getting more insane. This is the Dodge Challenger Drag Pak test vehicle.

Mopar gave spectators at the National Hot Rod Association’s U.S. Nationals Event on Thursday in Indianapolis. Based on the SRT Challenger, it features a 426 HEMI and a Chrysler-based 727 automatic transmission. The SRT body also went in for some widebody additions that look fantastic, along with 15-inch wheels front and rear. It also has a full roll cage and trunk-mounted battery to meet NHRA specifications.

Inside, thee are lightweight racing front seats, Mopar gauges and five-point harnesses.

The company is celebrating the 45th anniversary of the 426 HEMI with this vehicle.
