We loved Volvo Trucks’ recent string of commercials culminating with the Jean Claude van Damme stunt, but the truckmaker’s creative minds continue to deliver fine ads.

The latest one is called “The Casino” and features a parking valet in his first day at the job who is faced with an unusual situation. Shot at the Casino San Remo in Italy, the YouTube commercial shows the valet parking some sports cars before a huge brand new Volvo FH truck arrives to drop its passengers on the red carpet.

What is really interesting is that the entire event was staged, with all the people who took part knowing it was a prank filmed with hidden cameras. The only person who thought it was real was Ambrogio Adani, the 23-year-old parking valet who will definitely remember that evening for the rest of his life.

Scroll down to see his reaction in the commercial posted below, which advertises Volvo Trucks’ new I-Shift Dual Clutch transmission, the first ever dual-clutch gearbox for production heavy trucks – hence the analogy with sports cars.
