Spain, the land that gave the world bull fighting, the bull run and the tomato throwing festival, has come up with a new “sport”: cutting cars in half with an axe.
The footage comes from Spain’s Basque Country and shows two men competing to see who can cut a car in half faster using only an axe and other men to help roll the vehicle on each side in order for the cutter to do his job.
We don’t know what’s the story behind this unusual contest, but if you do we would like it if you shared that with us. Two things are certain though: these guys aren’t disgruntled customers punishing their cars in public (the cars are too old for that) and the folks from the scrap yard will really be happy to see their work cut out (pun intended) for them.
