If you were planning on buying a Nissan Quest, then the manufacturer’s recently operated changes to the model’s lineup surely won’t make you change your mind. It now starts from $26,530 and goes all the way up to $43,180, plus destination and handling (another $885).

What’s new is a morphing of the old LE trim into what is now called Platinum (the top tier trim).

You don’t have to opt for the top spec model to get plenty of bells and whistles, though. Power-sliding doors, quick-fold second and third row seats and advanced climate control all come as standard. “Third row power return seatbacks are standard on Quest Platinum” which is the only one to also get “Moving Object Detection (MOD) added to Platinum grade’s standard Around View Monitor.”

The engine is the same 3.5-liter V6 as before, which makes the exact same 260 hp. It’s sent to the front wheels via a variable transmission. The manufacturer notes that the vehicle is now 2 mpg more efficient than the previous model year, with an average 22 mpg combined (20 mpg city / 27 mpg highway).

The Quest can either be specced up with individual options or one of the following options packages, “including DVD Entertainment System, Bose Package, Dual Opening Glass Moonroof, Leather Package and Roof Rails.”
