Nissan has released a second teaser photo of its mysterious SUV concept that will have its world debut on October 28 at the Sao Paulo Auto Show in Brazil.

The Japanese automaker remains tight-lipped about what appears to be a B-segment study, with even its name remaining a mystery. The new photo allows us to see more of the SUV’s body, which features Nissan design cues like the V-shaped grille, sharp horizontal LED headlights and a sporty profile.

The study features muscular wheel arches and a “floating roof” thanks to the black painted A- and C-pillars. The rear quarter has a similar design to the all-new Murano, while the taillights appear to be boomerang-shaped.

Overall, Nissan’s study doesn’t appear to be far from production status, but it remains to be seen whether it previews a global model that would make a more practical alternative to the Juke or a model dedicated to emerging markets.
