Toyota’s Avalon flagship sedan has gained a new limited production XLE Touring Sport Edition for 2015, while the rest of the lineup has received content updates.

Based on the Touring grade, the XLE Touring Sport Edition is offered exclusively with the Attitude Black body color combined with dark blue interior trim and stitching.

The model features standard HID Quadrabeam headlights from the Limited trim line, LED daytime running lights, and exclusive 18-inch black-painted machine-finished wheels. Unique Avalon Touring Sport Edition badges complete the exterior changes.

Inside, the limited edition model gets perforated leather-trimmed heated front seats with dark blue stitching, dark blue dash trim and center console accent, aluminum scuff plate door sills, Avalon Touring Sport Edition logo floor mats with dark blue trim and Avalon Touring Sport Edition splash screen logo. Amenities include 8-way power-adjusted driver’s seat with power lumbar support and 4-way power-adjustable front passenger seat.

Priced from $37,170 (excluding $825 destination), the Avalon Touring Sport Edition will be built in a limited series of 2,500 units from late October 2014 to March 2015.

As for the rest of the 2015 Avalon lineup, upgrades include the addition of Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) to Avalon XLE Touring and Avalon Hybrid XLE Touring models, paddle shifters and Sport, ECO and Normal modes across the gas model lineup, two new colors (Celestial Silver Metallic and Cosmic Gray Mica), and a second generation Entune audio system offered across the lineup. Additionally, 17-inch alloy wheels are now available as an option for Avalon Limited (gas).

Prices range from $32,285 for the XLE to $39,980 for the Limited model. Pricing for the Avalon Hybrid starts at $36,470 for the XLE Premium to $41,700 for the Limited model. All prices exclude a $825 delivery, processing, and handling (DPH) fee.
