Can you imagine anything more senseless and unsafe on the road than a truck-driver steering his vehicle with his foot from the passenger seat?
Fortunately, being an imbecile has at its merits for the rest of the us road users, as the man who did this was foolish enough to share the video of his hazardous stunt for all the world and the…authorities to see.
The man seems to be speaking Russian or Ukrainian (perhaps our readers can help us identify the language heard in the footage), with the YouTube uploader nicknamed “vitsipo1” stating in the description:
“Просто устал от сидения за рулём. На месте пассажира и работы не чувствуется 🙂 Mexico City”, which Google translates to, “Just tired of sitting behind the wheel. In the passenger seat and the work does not feel 🙂 Mexico City.”
We could be mistaken, but we don’t think this was filmed in Mexico City in Mexico or even Mexico city in Missouri; the fall scenery on the road actually looks like what you’d meet in the Northeast in the USA or in Canada this time of the year. One of the road signs we see at the end of the clip also appears to be written in English.
Delving through the YouTube comments, we noticed a one “Vitaliy Zaporozhets” addressing a derogatory remark about Russians replying something in the lines of “how did you come to the conclusion that I am Russian?” and “write in Ukrainian”.
Turns out this “Vitaliy Zaporozhets” has a YouTube channel with a single video that shows him acting up with his friends in a NSFW manner undressing down to his boxers while driving, with the three young men eventually identifying themselves as being Ukrainian, Romanian and Moldavian. This is just a hunch, but the bald driver of the truck looks suspiciously similar to this guy…
