While it may not look like it, the Nissan GT-R has changed a lot over time. The styling may have not, but were you to compare one of the early cars with one of the very latest, you’d notice some major differences.

Everyday Driver took two such examples out for a comparative drive, plus a 2014 MY Mitsubishi Evo.

They noted that not only is the 2014 MY GT-R faster and better to drive, it’s also better inside, with improved materials and textures. Handling wise, the newer car proves flatter through the corners than the 2010 MY.

The differences are actually pretty noticeable, but you’ll have to watch the full 24-minute video posted after the virtual jump. It gives ample explanations as to what these are and, really, it’s a new take on the GT-R.

If you were thinking of buying one, either second hand or new, do check this video out first!
