As predicted, ABT’s “mystery” world premiere for the 2014 Essen Motor Show is the third-generation Audi TT Coupe, with the tuner presenting the first of many tuning upgrades to come.

The Essen show demonstrator is finished in black with red accents on ABT’s styling parts that include a front apron set, front grille surround, side skirts, mirror caps, a fixed rear wing and diffuser with corner attachments.

A four-pipe exhaust system and ABT’s 20-inch DR alloy wheels on Continental tires wrap up the cosmetic part of the tune.

Under the hood, the latest TT’s 2.0-liter turbocharged lump gains 80PS (79hp) and 70Nm of torque lifting output to a healthier 310PS (306hp) and 440Nm (324 lb-ft) respectively.

This is just round one, with ABT to follow up with more styling and performance tunes in the coming months.
