Aside from the all-new first-person mode, the next-gen console version of Grand Theft Auto 5 doesn’t really add a lot of new content. It does, however, improve the graphics quality considerably and it also runs smoother, while processing more at the same time – if you play it, you’ll notice the denser more realistic traffic.

If you’ve played the old-gen console version, then most of what the game has to offer will be familiar. It’s there’s nothing game changing about the updated version, but it just makes a good experience even better.

Playing in first-person is a totally different experience. The game never forces you to use that perspective, and for most missions and tasks it’s probably easier to stick to the classic view.

First-person is nice when just cruising the massive road network or strolling through the city picking random fistfights with strangers. Oh, and it makes picking up call girls much more amusing than before…

Check out the slew of videos below and if you’re a die-hard PC gamer, rest assured as you’ll get to experience it too, though you’ll have to wait until January to do so.
