So the Tesla Model S has been around for a while now, and we’ve seen so many reviews that it’s hard not to have a broader view. We’ve seen it tested everywhere from its US home, to Norway, Germany and now, more recently, in the UK.

We know it’s not perfect, but Carbuyer’s Mat Watson confesses to loving the it, though that’s obviously a bit of a subjective statement on his behalf. His review of it is not all praise, though, and he does find several important flaws that some may not be willing to overlook.

However, by the end he draws the usual conclusion: if your lifestyle and budget allow it, then do by all means get a Tesla Model S. It’s not a full, direct replacement for a regular combustion engined car, but it’s currently the closest thing to one, and it looks and drives the part too.

The highest compliment he pays to Tesla is saying the Model S feels like they’ve been making cars for decades – it’s even quite reliable for an all-new model (safe too).
