Hennessey Performance has released details about the 2015 VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged, a souped-up truck based on the all-new Ford F-150. As before, the vehicle will be a more extreme alternative for the upcoming F-150 SVT Raptor, which is rumored to debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.

Hennessey’s 2015 VelociRaptor will be powered by a supercharged version of Ford’s 5.0-liter V8 engine producing more than 600 horsepower. Responsible for the power increase are a Roots-type supercharger packing 8 psi of boost, a high-flow air induction system and a stainless-steel exhaust system. Additionally, the 2015 VelociRaptor will feature upgraded fuel injectors and Hennessey’s engine management calibration.

The company will only build 500 units of the VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged for the 2015 Ford F-150 model year, with pricing starting at $73,500 (€59,035), including the donor vehicle, a 2015 Ford F-150 FX4 Super Crew 5.0L V8.

For this significant amount of money, customers will also get 33-inch BFGoodrich tires on 17-inch Hennessey wheels. Optional extras will include a custom off-road coilover suspension, upgraded front and rear bumpers, front winch, LED light bars, Brembo brakes and more.

Customers can order the 2015 Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged at Ford dealerships, with each vehicle getting a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty from the tuner. Later on, Hennessey Performance will offer a VelociRaptor upgrade package for 2015 Ford trucks equipped with the EcoBoost engine.

“We’ve built over four-hundred VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged Ford trucks over the past four years. We are simply picking up where we left off with our 2015 VelociRaptor, ” said company founder John Hennessey. “Having Ford’s world-class new truck design, with a weight savings of nearly 700 pounds, our VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged will have an even greater level of performance and driving excitement!”
