It was only a matter of time before we saw a rendering of the brand new CTS-V in its Station Wagon form. You can’t go up against the Germans without also taking on the E63 AMG Estate and the RS6, can you?

Seems like this is exactly what Khalil B. from Virtuel Car had in mind when he put his creativity and talent to work and came up with this great looking illustration of the more family oriented CTS-V.

As you may probably know, the 2016 CTS-V is one of the most eagerly anticipated cars on the new year and it will make its debut this month in Detroit at the Auto Show. What makes the new CTS-V truly special is simply put, brute force. It uses the same engine you’d find in the 2015 Corvette Z06, but with 640 HP and 855 Nm (630 lb-ft) of torque.

It’s up on power compared to every other rival that hails from Germany. You could argue that the only other sports sedan that could give it a good whooping is the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, but you can’t really take on Mercedes, BMW and Audi without giving your customers a premium cabin feel – which is something Cadillac does well.

Officially, we don’t know anything about the CTS-V Wagon. But we hope it gets green lit ASAP, as it would instantly become the most powerful production station wagon on planet Earth.
