With Toyota getting ready to renew its Tacoma in Detroit, GMC is expanding its 2015 Canyon offerings with a new special edition model named Nightfall.

Blending a blacked out appearance with additional features and accessories, the 2015 Canyon Nightfall Edition will become available in North America during the first quarter of the year at an as of yet, undisclosed price, though, GMC said that it will offer “unique content at a greater value than ordering the features separately”.

Available in Onyx Black paint, the Nightfall Edition is based on the SLE crew cab with either 2WD or 4WD and gets a unique black grille, black assist steps, a factory-sprayed bed-liner, 18-inch alloy wheels with dark inserts and a polished exhaust tip.

Among other standard content, the Nightfall gets a remote start, automatic climate control, rear-view camera, an 8-inch touch screen for the infotainment system, aluminum interior trim, remote keyless entry, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls and a SiriusXM satellite radio with a 3-month trial.
