Now that we’re so close to the launch of the Shelby GT350, we could maybe take our minds of the Mustang that we’re really hoping to see, which is the GT500.

Leave it to Hennessey though to remind us that we crave power when it comes to cars and that we’re always looking for the biggest and the baddest models out there when it comes to our supercar fantasies. We’ve already talked about the HPE700 supercharger upgrade for the 2015 Mustang, but now we finally have some hard data to look at.

The HPE700’s dyno run showed 633 rear wheel HP and 525 lb-ft of torque. And just to put things into perspective, this is about as good as what the Challenger SRT Hellcat managed to score for Motor Trend (635 HP and 591 lb-ft).

Hennessey said that the HPE700 upgrade will take your Mustang from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.6 seconds and go on to complete the quarter mile in 11.2 seconds at 131 mph (211 km/h).

The complete package includes: 2.9 liter supercharger system, HPE air induction system, upgraded fuel injectors and fuel pump and HPE engine management calibration.
