Fiat has launched the new 500X in the UK in spectacular fashion as part of a live performance by Dynamo, the famous magician with whom the company has been working during the pre-launch phase of the new crossover.

In front of 1,000 invited guests at London’s Copper Box Arena, Dynamo put on a show for which he is said to have been preparing for three years. As Fiat says in the press release, Dynamo’s latest performance combines theater, illusion and dance inspired choreography.

The illusion reaches the climax as Dynamo generates a 3 dimensional blueprint of the Fiat 500X and “miraculously” brings it to life in front of a stunned audience. I’m sure you’re curious to see what that is all about, and that’s what the video posted below is for.

Before you do that, you should know that the live performance by Dynamo marked the end of the European “The Power of X” tour as well as the official start of the vehicle being available in Europe. Last weekend the Fiat 500X made its debut in Italian showrooms, recording a record turnout of more than 70,000 visitors and more than 12,900 test drives.
