Mitsubishi is trying to drum up some false hype with a new flyer claiming that next month’s Chicago Auto Show will see “The Return of a Legend”.

The Japanese carmaker didn’t release any additional information, but Autoblog.com spoke to company rep Alex Fedorak who crushed any hopes that Mitsubishi would unveil something new, stating that the firm will give the Concept GC-PHEV its North American debut, more than a year after its 2013 Tokyo Motor Show premiere.

He added that while it’s purely a concept, the GC-PHEV is “a designer’s rendering of what a new Montero [Pajero in Europe and other markets] could look like” and that the automaker will “talk about what role, if any, it plays in our future,” at the press conference.
