So we’re expecting the redesigned Lexus RX to debut at the Detroit motor show. We’ve heard several reports that it will join the new GS F at the event, and while we’ve already seen the BMW M5-rivaling sedan, we’re in the dark when it comes to the RX.

Since the first-gen model was basically a re-badged Toyota Harrier, Theophilus Chin thought it’d be a good idea to use the latest Harrier (2014 MY) as a base. What he did was basically change the front fascia to fit the big spindle grille.

Keep in mind, though, that the JDM 2014 Harrier is actually itself based on different underpinnings. This means the new RX could take things even further in terms of design, and while the front end may end up being very similar to this rendering, the sides will probably not.
