It may be a $60,000 Volvo wagon, but the Volvo V60 Polestar is just the bright, blistering oddball $60,000 Volvo wagon the world needed.

In this review, Jeff Glucker from Hooniverse takes this bright blue jelly bean of a car around and is clearly smitten. Most of all, because with the notable exception of the also-ridiculous Mercedes E63 AMG Wagon, most things like the V60 Polestar are for European consumption only. Americans just don’t get enough special wagons like the Polestar, and that’s what makes it special.

Even at 4.7 seconds to 60, the V60 Polestar isn’t a sports car. Yes, the E63 Wagon is both a better performance car and better wagon. But consider the Polestar is roughly half the price and looks a heck of a lot sexier, and I know which one I’d have. You know, if I had to only pick one fast wagon right now to dream about for the rest of my life.

Consider that only 80 V60s and 40 S60s made it over to the U.S. in Polestar form last year, out of a global production run of 750, and I thank the Volvo overlords that more Polestars are apparently in the works for 2016.

More people need to discover this car.
