Skoda has just announced that it will fully reveal its all-new Superb at a venue held on February 17 in the Czech capital, Prague. This reveal will be followed by its public debut at March’s Geneva motor show.

Touted as being the best car the manufacturer has ever made, expectations are high. We’ve already seen the sober yet clean interior and we have a very good idea of what it will look like on the outside too. We can also speculate as to its predictably Passat-like engine range, as well as the suite of modern convenience and safety gadgets it’s set to get.

Basically, it will be a very similar proposition to the previous-gen model: a bigger Passat with a less desirable badge for sub-Passat prices. This new model will probably undercut the German car yet again, but with its (hopefully) better styling and more premium appearance than ever, it may eat into its sales more than before.
