Trees can apparently be a great hazard for tall vehicles like double decker busses. The one you see in the video below apparently hit some trees on Kingsway, near the London School of Economics building and its entire roof detached and fell onto the road!

Yes, it’s like a big tin that’s had its top peeled off…

No passengers were seriously hurt (two people had facial injuries and were taken to hospital, while two more were treated on the scene), and the road was closed for several hours while cleanup operations were underway.

No word on how this happened, but we assume it’s the bus driver’s fault for failing to notice the trees and the height of the vehicle.

Whichever the case, it sure made for a spectacular set of images and videos. It’s not all bad, though, as it can now be used as a sightseeing bus with minimal investment – the hard part has already been done.
