Official photos of the hottest Corsa have leaked today, giving us a first glance at the latest member of the OPC/VXR family.

The aggressive bodywork follows the tradition of high performance Opels, with a sizeable air-scoop located at the front, above the grill, while the two exhaust tips at the back are located within the rear diffuser. Bigger wheels with the familiar OPC/VXR pattern and a rear wing complete the outside while inside, a beautiful set of Recaros steal the show as usual.

The new Corsa OPC/VXR will rival the likes of Fiesta ST, Renault Clio RS and Peugeot 208 GTI in a difficult and rather exciting segment of the market. Under the hood there is a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine with an estimated output of 210PS/207hp which makes the Corsa sprint to 60mph from zero in less than 7 seconds via a six-speed manual gearbox.

Leaked info also reveals that a limited-slip diff will be available on the options list, much like the one fitted on the previous generation Corsa OPC Nurburgring Edition.
We expect a full release soon, so stay tuned.
