The Nissan Kicks is obviously more than just a concept vehicle, otherwise the Japanese automaker wouldn’t have bothered giving it a new paint scheme. The Kicks previews a production model for the Brazilian market, and the reason for which the study has received a new livery is to pay homage to the world-famous Brazilian Carnival (February 13-18) and the GRES Academic Willow samba school.

The dominant color of the bodywork is pearlescent white with satin finish, accented with rend bands at the front as a reference to the samba school’s flag.

The rear half of the car is inspired by the colors of materials extracted from the mines located in the state of Minas Gerais, which is celebrated at this year’s Carnival. Besides the interesting paint scheme, the Kicks also received more aggressive front and rear bumpers, new guards and new 19-inch wheels.

The Nissan Kicks Concept is 4,300mm (169.3in) long, 1,800mm (70.8in) wide and 1,600mm (63in) tall, with a wheelbase of 2,620mm (103.1in). That makes it 175mm (6.9in) longer than the Juke, with a 90mm (3.5in) longer wheelbase, while width and height are approximately the same.
