Subaru announced its lineup for the Geneva Motor Show, with the highlights being the European debuts of the all-new Levorg and Outback. The Japanese automaker will also exhibit the Forester equipped with the boxer diesel and Lineartronic (CVT) transmission.

Following its launch on the Japanese market last year, the new Levorg sports tourer will be unveiled in European spec in Geneva and will go on sale later this year. Subaru didn’t reveal additional details about the Levorg, which in Japan is offered with a choice of two powertrains: a new 1.6-liter direct-injection turbocharged gasoline boxer engine delivering 168hp (170PS) and a similar 2.0-liter unit with 296hp (300PS).

As for Subaru’s flagship crossover model, the recently redesigned Outback, it will be on display in Geneva with a series of enhancements including the “EyeSight” driver assist technology. No information was revealed regarding engine variants, though. In the US, the Outback is powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter flat-four engine producing 175hp, but for Europe we’re expecting a diesel too.

Finally, the Forester with the boxer diesel can now be ordered with the Lineartronic CVT, which Subaru says it offers a “smooth and fuel efficient ride” and “enhances the sporty driving of the Subaru Boxer Diesel,” thanks to features like adaptive control and manual shifting.
