An as of yet unidentified man is reported to be dead after he allegedly tried to ram the main gate at the National Security Agency building in Fort Meade in Maryland Monday morning with his Ford Escape.

According to CNN, there were two people in the older generation Ford Escape, with CBS News adding they have confirmed that, “the suspects were two men dressed as women”.

One more person was taken to Shock Trauma for treatment with undisclosed injuries, though, it’s not clear at this point if he was the other passenger in the car, or one of the 11,000 military personnel and 29,000 civilian employees who work at the NSA building.

It was reported that agents found cocaine and a weapon near the suspect’s SUV.

The FBI issued a statement in which it said that it does not believe the incident is related to terrorism.

“FBI Baltimore is investigating a shooting incident which occurred this morning at a gate at the National Security Agency at Fort Meade just off I-295 in Anne Arundel County, MD.  The shooting scene is contained and we do not believe it is related to terrorism.  We are investigating with NSA Police and other law enforcement agencies.  Our Evidence Response Team is processing the crime scene, and FBI Agents are doing joint interviews with witnesses.  We are working with the US Attorney’s Office in Maryland to determine if federal charges are warranted.  We have no further information at this time to release.”
