BMW‘s facelifted 1 Series does indeed look right at home at the hands of DTM champion Marco Wittmann. So then what’s the Cookie Monster doing here?
Well, if you ask for donuts, you’re going to get donuts. And not the type you like to eat, at least not in a rear-wheel drive BMW.
Speaking of which, the 1 Series remains the only car in its class with rear-wheel drive, and that definitely sets it apart in the eyes of people looking for a great handling and very dynamic premium C-Segment car.
Its restyled front end will also go a long way to helping it land more customers – since there were lots of people saying that they don’t much care for the way in which the 1 Series looks.
