Dodge has released a series of videos starring a hard-nosed cop, his mean TED-like stuffed animal sidekick, and the enforcement of what they like to call “Dodge Law”.

Basically, ‘Dodge Law’ stands for the modern-day values of a Dodge owner, who naturally prefers cars like the Challenger and Charger, and if at all possible, the SRT versions naturally.

When driving such cars, you’re supposed to do it like you’ve earned them. Don’t hold up traffic, don’t short shift, don’t listen to pretentious music and so on.

In this particular spot, seems like the driver of the black Challenger R/T was easily overtaken by an old VW Passat, which just goes against everything ‘Dodge Law’ stands for!

Arguably, the best part is when they spot what music he was listening to and tell him to get out of the car.

But what’s really interesting is that Dodge does indeed have a pretty impressive line-up of straight line performers, when you take every model into consideration. Even the Durango, Journey and Grand Caravan come with V6 units and even a 5.7 Hemi V8 engine in the case of the Durango R/T.

As a moral dilemma, Dodge owners should drive around with more awareness about what’s under the hood of their cars. It’s not like they’re driving a 1.0 liter Ford ‘EcoBoost’ model.
