Few vehicles can capture the public’s imagination so much as the Delorean DMC-12 did back in the ‘80s.
Delorean’s creation may owe its global recognition to the famous “Back to the Future” franchise but the DMC-12 is so much more than a famous movie car. From the gullwing doors to the unpainted stainless steel body panels, John DeLorean’s creation was so much different compared to the other sports cars of the era, a very brave exercise and a bright example of a man chasing his dream of building his own car.
Petrolicious features a proud Delorean owner, who saw past the Holywood fame and appreciates the DMC-12 for what it is, a remarkable original idea or an icon if you prefer, made out of John Delorean’s soul.
