No, not because the Jazz doesn’t worth the attention, but because Honda brought two of the most anticipated models of the year to sit next to it.

After the European premiere of the NSX and the reveal of the new Civic Type-R it’s only natural to witness the latest generation of the Jazz sitting unnoticed. Honda’s clever compact MPV has a few new tricks up its sleeve, including a new 1.3-litre VTEC engine making 101hp/6.000rpm paired to a six-speed manual gearbox with a CVT offered as an option.

Based on the same platform with the upcoming HR-V, the new Jazz is lighter and more rigid from its predecessor while the longer wheelbase further increases interior space and stability on the road. The new Jazz is 95mm longer with 30mm coming from the wheelbase but this didn’t stop Honda from adding clever engineering to take advantage of the increased room. A lower-profile fuel tank is mounted under the front seats, freeing more space beneath the rear seats, allowing for better versatility and a bigger luggage compartment that now measures 354lt of capacity.

Honda is offering also as an option the new, seven-inch “Honda Connect” infotainment touchscreen system that runs Android Auto and syncs with smartphones and other multimedia devices through MirrorLink, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI and USB.
