Even if you’re not familiar with the name Liberty Walk, chances are you’ve seen videos of those outrageous wide body Lamborghini Murcielagos from Japan. During the 2014 SEMA show in Las Vegas, GT Channel stopped to have a chat with Liberty Walk president Wataru Kato.

As the mind behind the incredible aftermarket aero company, we wouldn’t blame Kato for being a little full of himself… except he isn’t whatsoever! Instead, Kato humbly describes himself as just a normal guy. He also introduces Liberty Walk as a small company from a small country called Japan.

According to Kato, the United States is a big stage for car culture and he is thankful for the roaring reception Liberty Walk received here. In order to express his thanks, Wataru Kato decided to go all out at SEMA, and displayed a number of his company’s best work, including a wide body Lamborghini, a wide body Ferrari 458 Italia, as well as Kato’s favorite wide-body “Ken And Mary” Skyline ‘C110.’

For Wataru Kato, his Kenmeri Skyline represents his roots as well as the car that motivated Kato to build Liberty Walk into the Japanese aero powerhouse that it is today. Be sure to watch GT Channel’s Wataru Kato interview below as well as the amazing Liberty Walk Kenmeri Skyline below:
